(VOVworld) – Party Secretary of HCM city Dinh La Thang attended a working session between the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor and the municipal labor federation on Tuesday.

He said trade unions should play their role in the restructuring of businesses because this will affect workers’ interests. He added that trade unions should make sure that employers are responsible for their workers’ finance and social insurance. Mr. Thang said: “Trade unions should work closely with business owners. We are in a time of integration so labor quality should improve quickly.”
