Tunisia wants to promote relations with Vietnam

(VOVWORLD) - Tunisia wishes to further strengthen relations with Vietnam and suggests enhancing the exchange of delegations, Tunisian President Kais Saied said at a reception for Vietnamese Ambassador to Egypt and Tunisia Nguyen Huy Dung, who presented his credentials on Tuesday.

Hailing the long-lasting relationship between Vietnam and Tunisia and the warm relationship between President Habib Bourguiba and President Ho Chi Minh, Saied said he admires Vietnam’s recent socio-economic achievements, adding that Vietnam is one of the most prominent Asian economies.
Ambassador Dung pledged to do his utmost to contribute to improving the relationship between the two countries.
