He said measures adopted by Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Egypt, and Bahrain to sever diplomatic and economic ties with Qatar are broad in scope and have the potential to severely disrupt the lives of thousands of people, including overseas students and families with joint nationalities. He urged all parties to quickly resolve the conflict through dialogue.
