He said the offer can send a strong message of the determination to end the war in Yemen. 

The war started 5 years ago between the Houthi rebel, who has been controlling Yemen’s capital city of Sanaa, and an internationally recognized coalition led by Saudi Arabia.

The conflict has killed tens of thousands and put millions into starvation. This is the worst humanitarian crisis in the world, according to the UN.
