(VOV/VOVworld)- The US Department of Commerce (DOC) has decided to terminate its countervailing duty (CVD) investigation of circular welded carbon steel pipe from Vietnam. The DOC made its final determination on the case after investigations showed that neither of the two Vietnamese respondents - SeAH Steel VINA Corp. and Vietnam Haiphong Hongyuan Machinery Manufactory Co., Ltd. - received countervailing subsidies.  The CVD investigation of steel pipe from Vietnam will now be terminated.  The US International Trade Commission is scheduled to make a final determination in the steel pipe cases involving Vietnam, India, Oman and the United Arab Emirates next month.
