US kills leader of IS in Afghanistan
(VOVWORLD) -The Pentagon said Friday that US forces have killed Abu Sayed, the leader of IS-Khorasan, the terror group in Afghanistan.

The “Emir” of IS-Khorasan was killed “in a strike on the group’s headquarters in Kunar Province,” Chief Pentagon spokesperson Dana White said in a statement. Sayed’s death marks the third time an IS-Khorasan leader has been killed within a year.
