US President says DPRK’s potential is 'awesome”
(VOVWORLD) - US President Donald Trump on Tuesday said: “The potential is awesome, a great opportunity, like almost none other in history, for my friend Kim Jong Un. We will know fairly soon - very interesting.” Trump tweeted before the upcoming summit with DPRK Chairman Kim Jong-un in Hanoi.
According to a White House announcement, the two leaders will meet at the Sofitel Legend Metropole Hanoi for a 20-minute one-on-one conversation before a dinner scheduled to last just over an hour and a half on Wednesday evening.
The US delegation will include Secretary of State Mike Pompeo and Acting White House Chief of Staff Mick Mulvaney. Chairman Kim will be joined by two of his advisors. Official meetings are scheduled to take place on Thursday.
