US runs UN new sanctions on North Korea
(VOVWORLD) - The US on Thursday circulated a UN Security Council resolution that further sanctions North Korea’s economy, UN diplomats said.

The resolution bans the export of North Korea food, electrical equipment, and minerals, and authorizes countries to stop and inspect any North Korean ship suspected of carrying those items. The UN resolution also asks countries to return all North Korean workers within a year and adds 19 North Koreans to a black list.
The US wanted a further ban on 90% of refined oil products exported to North Korea.
