US to renew ties with its allies
(VOVWORLD) - US Secretary of State Antony Blinken on Wednesday talked about challenges the US is facing in his first major speech as Secretary. He underscored the importance of revitalizing multilateral mechanisms and America’s ties with its allies and partners.

While the US is working to reconnect with them, it will not engage in costly military interventions. Diplomacy will always come first, said Blinken. He said the US will recalibrate its relationship with China. The two countries see potential for cooperation in several fields.
