US urges Qatar and its neighbors to resolve crisis
(VOVWORLD) - US Secretary of State Rex Tillerson on Sunday encouraged Qatar and the Arab countries who have severed diplomatic ties with Doha to find a solution to their diplomatic row.

Tillerson said in a statement that the productive next step would be for all of the countries to sit down together and talk. Washington believes its allies and partners are stronger when they are all working toward their shared goal of fighting terrorism and extremism.
Several countries cut ties with Qatar on June 5, accusing Qatar of supporting terrorism and destabilizing the region. Doha rejected the accusations, calling them "unjustified" and "baseless." Bahrain, Yemen and the Maldives have also boycotted Qatar.
