(VOVworld)- A large-scale vaccination campaign against measles and rubella was launched in Hanoi on Saturday. Speaking at the event, Vice President Nguyen Thi Doan said that the Party and Government have special attention to child care activities.

The free vaccination campaign was sponsored by the Government and many international organizations in order to lower the rate of infection and fatality among children. Vice President Ngueyn Thi Doan called on authorities at all levels, organizations and individuals especially families with children aged between 1 and 14 to actively respond to this campaign.
