The Thai Prime Minister stressed the importance of the Thailand-Vietnam enhanced strategic partnership, agreed to strengthen economic, trade and investment cooperation and boost cohesion and cooperation between localities.

Both leaders agreed on further coordination to maintain ASEAN’s solidarity and centrality, promote sub-regional cooperation such as Mekong, Ayeyawady-Chao Phraya-Mekong Economic Cooperation Strategy (ACMECS), contribute to the ASEAN community and to peace, stability, cooperation and development in the region.
