(VOVworld) – Vice State President Nguyen Thi Doan on Monday visited Gio My commune of Gio Linh district and Vinh Nam commune in Vinh Linh district.

The two areas – both in Quang Tri province - have seriously been affected by recent typhoons. Ms. Doan presented 90 gifts worth 2 million VND each to disadvantaged families. She also asked the local authorities to aid families and poor families who suffered from the storms. She also called for support for those who rendered great service to the nation by helping with relief efforts after the typhoons.
