Vietnam adds 3 imported cases of COVID-19

(VOVWORLD) - Vietnam detected 3 new COVID-19 patients on Monday, all imported. The latest cases were quarantined upon arrival in Hanoi, Dong Nai and Kien Giang provinces.

The country has recorded nearly 1,600 domestically-transmitted infections, including more than 900 cases since the latest outbreak hit Hai Duong province and some other northern localities on January 27.

More than 2,100 patients have been declared to be clear of coronavirus, and 35 have died.

Vietnam rolled out its COVID-19 inoculation campaign last week.
