(VOVWORLD) - Hundreds of businesses are exhibiting their agricultural products at the Vietnam Agricultural Products Festival which opened Monday in Vinh Long province.

The week-long festival is a platform for Vinh Long and neighboring regions to promote their traditional crafts and their achievements in agricultural production. Cao Xuan Thu Van, Vice Chairwoman of the Vietnam Farmers' Association, said that the Vietnam Agricultural Products Festival - Vinh Long 2023 allows provinces and cities to promote trade and increase market connections for local agricultural products.
It’s also an opportunity for the Mekong Delta region to expedite the planning of raw material zones, register planting area codes, and provide guidance to farmers on sustainable and adaptive cultivation practices.
