(VOVWORLD) -Vietnam Airlines on Thursday launched a direct route between Hanoi and Melbourne, Australia, offering two round-trip flights per week, on Thursdays and Sundays.

In November, the frequency will increase to three round-trip flights per week.
This is Vietnam Airline's fourth route to Australia, following Ho Chi Minh City-Sydney, Ho Chi Minh City-Melbourne, and Hanoi-Sydney.
