Vietnam and Cameroon to celebrate 45 years of diplomatic relations

(VOVworld) - Deputy Foreign Minister and Special envoy of the President, Vu Hong Nam has conveyed the Presidential letter of invitation to Cameroon President for a Vietnam visit. During Deputy Foreign Minister Nam’s meetings with Cameroon Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Nam advised on the East Sea situation and Vietnam’s consistent view of settling disputes by peaceful means based on international law. The Cameroon leaders urged countries to respect national sovereignty and peaceful existence in compliance with international law. Both agreed to promote business delegation exchanges and celebrate 45 years of bilateral diplomatic ties this year. Vietnam expects to cooperate with Cameroon in rice trading and industrial cooperation.
