At a WHO session in Geneva this week, Health Minister Nguyen Thi Kim Tien said Vietnam hopes to continue receiving financial and technical assistance from the WHO and partners in order to build a high-quality, effective, fair, responsible, and sustainable health care system.

She noted that with continued support from the international community, Vietnam can ensure that its health care and welfare programs are successful.

The 70th session of the World Health Organization has drawn 3,500 delegates from 194 member states to set WHO financial policies and its 2018-2019 budget.
