(VOVworld)- Vietnam fully supports UNESCO’s “action plan towards future” initiated by Director-General Irina Bokova. Head of Vietnam's Mission to UNESCO Duong Van Quang made the affirmation during an interview with Vietnam News Agency after attending a recent session of the Executive Board of UNESCO in Paris, during which, Ms. Irina Bokova presented a roadmap to tackle financial difficulties facing the organization. UNESCO has been struggling with budgetary problems since the US ceased its financial contributions which account for 22 percent of UNESCO's budget after the admission of Palestine to this agency last November.
