(VOVworld) – Vietnam’s Minister of Justice Ha Hung Cuong paid a visit to Cuba last week to enhance cooperation in law and boost Vietnam-Cuba friendship.

During talks with Cuban Minister of Justice, Maria Esther Reus Gonzalez, Cuong informed his host of Vietnam’s socio-economic situation, achievements, and challenges that Vietnam is facing in its global integration process. Gonzalez said the Vietnamese delegation’s visit has strengthened the traditional relationship between the two countries.
The two Ministers signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on cooperation between the two ministries.
During his visit, Cuong met with Vice President of the National Assembly Ana Maria Mari Machado, Secretary of the Council of State Homero Acosta Alvarez, Head of the Supreme People’s Procuracy Dario Delgado Cura, and National Assembly Committee for External Relations Chairperson Yolanda Ferrer.
