During their meeting in Hanoi on Thursday, both sides called for more incentives to promote business market exploration, especially in infrastructure, agriculture, renewable energy, defense and tourism. They agreed support the settlement of disputes in the East Sea by peaceful means based on international law, particularly the 1982 UN Convention on the Law of the Sea. The Vietnamese Deputy Foreign Minister also asked for the Czech Republic’s support for early signing and ratification of the EU-Vietnam Free Trade Agreement.
