Foreign tourists are often impressed by the hospitality, smiles, and friendliness of Vietnamese people on top of the fabulous natural landscape. In addition, most of them agree that they don’t feel any language barrier.

Germany’s Deutsche Welle published an article titled "Vietnam – the new tourist hotspot of Southeast Asia" which highlights Vietnam’s diverse landscapes, beaches, terraced fields, bustling cities, and improved visa policy. Vietnam has quickly become one of the most popular destinations in Southeast Asia, it said.

Singapore’s News Asia channel included Sa Pa in Lao Cai province, Da Lat in Lam Dong province, and Ba Na Hills near Da Nang city on its list of 10 cooling getaways in Asia to escape the intense heat.

Hoi An and Ho Chi Minh City are on the list of Favorite Cities in Asia voted on by readers of US travel magazine Travel+Leisure.

Ha Long Bay, Hoi An, and Phong Nha-Ke Bang were listed among the 16 favorite UNESCO world heritage wonders in Southeast Asia by UK travel magazine Wanderlust.

Google's market trend tracking tool ranked Vietnam 7th worldwide in search volume between mid-March and early June and Vietnam was the only Southeast Asian country among the 20 countries with the most searches in the world.

Tourism experts say that, with policies to facilitate international tourism plus unique tourism products and professional service, Vietnam could welcome 12 million foreign visitors this year.
