Ms Hang said: " The Vietnamese government always considers ensuring national food security an important task in industrialization and modernization as well as national sustainable development and stability. Vietnam produces 41 to 43 million tons of rice and 6.5 million tons of meat, meeting its domestic demand."

"As a leading world food exporter, Vietnam makes significant contribution to joint efforts in tackling global food security challenges. As a responsible member of the UN and the world community, Vietnam is willing to share its experience in food security and wishes for international cooperation in resolving this issue responsibly," Hang added.
