(VOVworld) - Vice President and Secretary General of Vietnam Fatherland Front Vu Trong Kim has urged dignitaries in Lang Son – Cao Bang diocese to practice Party and State policies while joining people across the country in national construction and defense.

During his visit to Lang Son city’s Archdiocese, Kim asked the pastors to promote their belief and national patriotism in line with the Pope’s teaching that a good Christian must be a good citizen. He reiterated the Party and State’s respect for and assurance of religious freedom and belief, while facilitating legitimate religious practices for national development. Pastor Dang Duc Ngan said his diocese would do more to ensure prosperity and happiness while promoting the Gospel in national development.
