The letter said that for the past nearly two years, religious dignitaries, officials, and monks have defied the danger and worked with officials and soldiers in the frontline of disease prevention and control.

People of all religions at home and abroad have provided material support and human resources to join hands with the community to overcome the pandemic. This is a concrete and vivid evidence of the tradition of patriotism and "living a good life" of all regions across Vietnam, according to the letter.

Mr. Chien said he hopes that religious followers and compatriots continue to stay united and capitalize their resources for COVID-19 prevention and control.
