Vietnam Grand Sale 2023 is launched

The Vietnam Grand Sale 2023 campaign encourages businesses nationwide to participate by conducting promotional activities, but they must ensure transparency, respect the rights and interests of consumers, secure the quality of their goods and services, and comply with all regulations.

Le Hoang Tai, Deputy Director of the Trade Promotion Department of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, said the Ministry expects the campaign to build on the success of last year, increasing retail sales of goods and services and contributing to Vietnam’s economic growth.

"This year’s event will continue into January ahead of the Lunar New Year, when businesses sometimes offer discounts of up to 100%. Now is the time for businesses to stimulate year-end sales and create a very special shopping season for the public,' said Tai.

State management agencies and associations will closely monitor and conduct regular inspections of promotional activities to ensure transparency, compliance with the law, and the rights of consumers.
