(VOVworld) – In reply to reporters’ questions on Vietnam’s response to a UN resolution passed on Wednesday that urges the US to end its embargoes on Cuba, Vietnam’s Foreign Ministry spokesperson Le Hai Binh said: “Vietnam hails nations voting for a UN resolution that calls on the US to lift its embargoes on Cuba. Vietnam thinks it’s inappropriate to keep those embargoes against Cuba. They should be fully lifted as soon as possible for both Cuban and US people’s aspirations and interests, contributing to maintaining peace and stability in the America.”
