Vietnam has new Deputy Prime Minister
(VOVWORLD) - The National Assembly on Thursday approved a resolution ratifying the appointment of Justice Minister Le Thanh Long as Deputy Prime Minister for the 2021-2026 term.

The resolution was approved on request of the Prime Minister who had nominated the Justice Minister as Deputy Prime Minister.
Long, 61, has a Doctor of Laws degree. He has also acquired a high-level political theory certificate. He has held major important positions such as Deputy Minister of Justice, Deputy Secretary of the Ha Tinh Provincial Party Committee and Minister of Justice before being appointed as Deputy Prime Minister.
He is currently a member of the Party Central Committee and deputy of the National Assembly.
