Vietnam has six members on the Forbes list of the world’s billionaires

(VOVWORLD) - Vietnam has six billionaires on Forbes global list, with four of them increasing their net worth over last year.

The six Vietnamese billionaires are Vingroup Chairman Pham Nhat Vuong, VietJet Air Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Phuong Thao, Hoa Phat Chairman Tran Dinh Long, Techcombank Chairman Ho Hung Anh, Thaco Chairman Tran Ba Duong, and Chairman of Masan, Nguyen Dang Quang.

French luxury goods magnate Bernard Arnault is the richest person in the world, ranking number one on Forbes list of the world’s billionaires. He’s 22 billion USD richer than in 2023, thanks to yet another record year for his luxury goods conglomerate, LVMH, which owns an empire of 75 coveted brands including Louis Vuitton, Christian Dior and Sephora.

Elon Musk, the owner of Tesla company and SpaceX aerospace corporation, retained second place with estimated assets of 195 billion USD. Jeff Bezos, founder of the Amazon e‑commerce group, ranked third with 194 billion USD. The US has the most billionaires with 813 people followed by China and India.
