(VOVworld) - A program on information technology system development was officially handed over to the Office of the Lao Government in Vientiane on Thursday. With the help from the Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam (BIDV), the 83,000-USD program provided training courses for IT officials, IT equipment, and a specialized office email system.
The program has helped to improve the Lao Government Office’s IT system, and strengthen its security.
The same day a ceremony was held in Vientiane to mark the 16th founding anniversary of the Laos-Vietnam Joint Venture Bank and 7th anniversary of the Laos-Vietnam Insurance Joint Venture.
