Vietnam hosts international off-road race

(VOVworld) – The RFC Vietnam Challenge Ha Long 2013 tournament will take place from June 1 to 5 in Tuan Chau island near Ha Long Bay. The Hanoi Off-road Club told the media in Hanoi on Thursday that this will be the first off-road car race to be held in Vietnam. Tran Manh Hung, President of the Club, said: “We expect that there will be from 25 to 30 teams from Vietnam and other countries in Asia, Europe and America. They will compete in 18 categories in different types of topography. The rankings will based on classifications of cars: 2,000 cc, from 2,000 to 3,000 cc and more than 3,000 cc. There will be other types of cars”.

From this year, RFC Vietnam Challenge is officially included in the international Rainforest Challenge which is held all over the world and the main event taking place in Malaysia in December.
