Vietnam initiates inclusive development in economics, finance, social affairs
(VOVWORLD) - Vietnam has proposed an action plan to achieve inclusive development in economic, financial, and social issues, which also topped the agenda of a workshop in Ho Chi Minh city on Monday.

Addressing the workshop held as part the 3rd APEC Senior Officials’ Meeting (SOM 3), Deputy Foreign Minister Bui Thanh Son said: “This is a key initiative by Vietnam which can meet the aspirations and draw the support of regional countries”.
Son told the workshop that globalization and free trade have significantly promoted world trade and growth, and reduced poverty, but income disparity seems to be widening. The 4th industrial revolution and digitization are creating great new development opportunities for APEC economies, he said.
