(VNA)- Vietnam always attaches importance to cooperation with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) and other international oganisations in all nuclear energy related issues for peaceful purposes. At the 56th annual session of the IAEA General Assembly in Vienna, Austria yesterday, Minister of Science and Technology Nguyen Quan said that Vietnam supports and implements the IAEA’s action plan on nuclear safety.  He told the Assembly that the Vietnamese President has approved the supplementary protocol and necessary documents to join the IAEA’s Convention on Physical Protection of Nuclear Material.
