Vietnam is first drawing card for Japanese businesses

(VOVworld) – A Vietnam-Japan investment and tourism promotion seminar has been held in Japan’s Gifu prefecture with more than 200 delegates attending. Yuri Murase, President of Jaroku Bank, one of Japan’s 15 largest banks, said Vietnam was one of the top destinations for Japanese enterprises. He said he was optimistic that more major projects would be implemented in Vietnam in the coming years. Governor of Gifu Furuta said the local administration and businesses would prioritize cooperation with Vietnam, particularly in car spare parts manufacturing, high quality agriculture, and tourism.

Leaders from Gifu and Nghe An province signed a cooperative agreement in agriculture, tourism, and investment.
