Vietnam, Liechtenstein bolster bilateral ties

(VOVworld) – On Wednesday Hereditary Prince Alois of the Principality of Liechtenstein said Liechtenstein wishes to bolster bilateral relations with Vietnam, particularly in economics and trade. At a reception in Vaduz Castle for Vietnamese Ambassador Pham Hai Bang, who was there to present his credentials, Prince Alois urged the signing of a free trade agreement between Vietnam and the European Economic Area (EEA) which includes Liechtenstein, Iceland, Norway and Switzerland.

Ambassador Bang conveyed President Tran Dai Quang’s compliments to Prince Hans-Adam II and Hereditary Prince Alois. He briefed Prince Alois on Vietnam’s new leaders, socio-economic achievements, and recent East Sea developments. Bang said he hopes Vietnam will become an attractive destination for Liechtenstein’s investors and tourists.
