Vietnam, New Zealand aim at greater trade turnover growth

(VOVWORLD) - Vietnam and New Zealand have agreed on further cooperation in trade, investment and economics, agriculture and agribusiness, clean technology, supply chain development of farm produce, education, aviation, and tourism.

The statement was made at 7th virtual session of Vietnam - New Zealand Joint Trade and Economic Commission (JTEC) held in Hanoi on Friday with the co-chair of Tran Quoc Khanh, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of Vietnam and Vangelis Vitalis, Deputy Secretary of Foreign Affairs and Trade of New Zealand.

The two sides discussed prioritized products including lemon and pomelo from Vietnam and New Zealand’s strawberries and pumpkins.

They pledged to facilitate more favorable conditions for bilateral trade to grow.
