Deputy Minister of Education and Training Nguyen Van Phuc receives New Zealand Ambassador to Vietnam Wendy Matthews.

Mr. Phuc told his guest that the COVID-19 pandemic has affected schooling. Vietnam has used technology for teaching and learning during social distancing periods and promoted digital transformation in education.

He expressed his hope that the Ambassador continued to support Vietnam and its education to realize the signed cooperation agreements, including the Strategic Education Cooperation Plan from 2020 to 2023.

Ambassador Wendy Matthews said with COVID-19 being contained, New Zealand has gradually received foreign students, including those from Vietnam.

She hopes that the two Ministries of Education will further tighten cooperation in the future.
