Vietnam pianist wins Russian prize
(VOVworld) - A Vietnamese teenager has won the first prize in a Russian competition for young pianists recently held in Moscow. Seventy contestants under the age of 18 from across Russia participated in the competition. Tran Dieu Linh, born and raised in Moscow, entered the famed Moscow Gnessin Special School of Music in 2010. Linh and her sister Tran Dieu An have travelled around the world to play classical music in the past seven years, winning more than 30 awards in both Russia and elsewhere in Europe.
