In an interview with Vietnam News Agency on Vietnam’s economic prospects in 2018, Minister Dung said that despite unpredictable global developments in 2018, Vietnam will be able to capitalize on its 2017 achievements thanks to the effective guidelines and policies of the Party and State.

Mr. Dung noted that it’s important to seize opportunities and create new opportunities, maintain economic stability, strengthen domestic economy, and take advantage of the 4^th industrial revolution. The Minister of Planning and Investment called for efforts to mobilize resources from the private sector, residents, and foreign investors. He said the influx of foreign investment into Vietnam will be even stronger in 2018. Mr. Dung stressed the need to increase connectivity between domestic and foreign businesses and go ahead with administrative reform.
