Vietnam ready to sacrifice economic benefit for public health: PM
(VOVWORLD) - Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc has reiterated that the Government is ready to sacrifice economic gains to protect the health of the Vietnamese public and visitors to the country.

Addressing a cabinet meeting on Tuesday, Mr. Phuc urged the continuation of resolute efforts to prevent the spread of the new coronavirus in the community.
Despite the adverse impact of Covid-19 on the economy, particularly in transport, tourism, and service sectors and the supply chain, Vietnam’s socio-economic stability was maintained in the past month, while inflation dropped and budget revenue increased. Agriculture continued to grow while epidemics were well controlled, according to the Government report.
