(VOVworld) – The number of foreign visitors to Vietnam in November was 25% higher than in October. Visits are up 7% for the year. According to the General Statistics Office of Vietnam, the country has welcomed 6 million foreign tourists in the past 11 months. The largest increase came from South Korea, a 31% increase, followed by Malaysia with a 25% increase and Thailand with a 24% increase.

To reach its goal of 6.5 million visitors in 2012 Vietnam has launched Christmas holiday incentive programs targeting Europeans.
