Vietnam records 2 more COVID-19-related deaths

(VOVWORLD) - Two more people have died in Vietnam due to COVID-19-related complications, Deputy Minister of Health Nguyen Truong Son announced on Monday evening. 

The first case was a 66-year-old man, known as patient 436, who lived in Cam Le district, Da Nang City. He was suffering from end-stage chronic renal failure and repeated cardiac arrest at Da Nang Hospital.

The Ministry of Health announced late on Monday that patient 522, a 68-year-old man with diabetes and cancer of the kidney, had died of severe pneumonia caused by COVID-19, severe respiratory failure, pulmonary artery obstruction as a result of the kidney cancer, which caused bladder and lung metastases, chronic kidney failure, and type 2 diabetes. He was Vietnam's 15th COVID-19 victim so far.
