Vietnam reports 2 more new cases of COVID-19 from abroad

(VOVWORLD) -An additional 2 imported cases of COVID-19 was reported in Vietnam on Sunday, said the Steering Committee for COVID-19 Prevention and Control.

Both patients 371 and 372 are female, 36 and 31 years old. On July 9, they flew from Russia to Vietnam on flight VN5062. After arriving at Can Tho International Airport, they were quarantined at a facility in Bac Lieu Province. On July 10, they tested positive for SAR-CoV-2. Currently, the 2 patients are being isolated and treated at Bac Lieu General Hospital.

To date, 350 of the total 372 COVID-19 patients in Vietnam have fully recovered.
