Vietnam reports no new COVID-19 cases in 4 days, no deaths

(VOVWORLD) - No new cases of the novel coronavirus were confirmed as of Monday morning, making it four consecutive days Vietnam has recorded no new infections of the deadly virus, according to the Ministry of Health.

The total number of COVID-19 cases in the country remains at 268, including 160 people coming from abroad and 108 infected in the community. One case, patient 188, has tested positive again after recovery and is being treated at the National Hospital of Tropical Diseases on the outskirts of Hanoi.

All critically ill patients have been cured by Vietnamese medical staff, said the Ministry of Health. Vietnam is one of 3 countries in the world that has more than 200 COVID-19 infection cases and no deaths.
