(VOV) - Vietnam expresses great concern about developments related to the recent satellite launch by the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK). Vietnam Foreign Affairs Ministry spokesperson Luong Thanh Nghi made this statement on Friday in response to media questions about Vietnam’s reaction to the DPRK’s launch of the Kwangmyongsong-3 sattelite. He said Vietnam always wishes for a peaceful, stable and prosperous Korean peninsula and it once again affirms the necessity of strictly abiding by UN Security Council resolutions, particularly Resolution 1874 on peace and stability in the region and the world. Nghi added that the country will also continue to closely follow the developments on the Korean peninsula.
