(VOVworld)- A conference on more cooperation in the labor market between Vietnam and the Republic of Korea (RoK) opened in the northern province of Hai Duong today/Friday. National Assembly’s Vice Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan and Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Thien Nhan attended the event, which is part of activities to mark the 20th anniversary of diplomatic ties between the two countries. Deputy Minister of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs Nguyen Thanh Hoa said that Vietnamese workers employed in the Republic of Korea are renowned for being hard working, creative and adaptable. Vietnam leads 14 other countries in the number of its workers currently in the Republic of Korea. "Vietnam and the Republic of Korea aim to strengthen bilateral cooperation in labor and social issues.  In the future, the Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs will work closer with the relevant agencies to raise workers’ awareness of the labor laws in the Republic of Korea", said Hoa.
