Vietnam-Russia friendship stands the test of time
(VOVWORLD) - Friendship and sympathy between the Vietnamese and Russian people have stood the test of time and political circumstances, said Russian Minister of Foreign Affairs Sergei Lavrov in his opening speech at an exhibition in Moscow on Tuesday marking the 75th anniversary of Vietnam-Russia diplomatic ties.

Lavrov said both sides can be proud and optimistic about continuing to nurture the relationship for the benefit of the people of Russia and Vietnam, and for the stability and security of the Asia-Pacific region and the world.
At the ceremony, Vietnam's Ambassador to Russia Dang Minh Khoi said 2025 will be another pivotal year in the relationship.
He said he is confident the people of both countries will embrace new opportunities to strengthen comprehensive cooperation and elevate economic and trade ties to the level of current political trust.
