Vietnam Salt Industry Festival to take place next March in Bac Lieu
(VOVWORLD) - Vietnam Salt Industry Festival 2025 will take place in March next year in the southern province of Bac Lieu, it was announced at a press conference in Hanoi on Monday.

Themed "Enhancing the value of Vietnamese salt", the event will feature the 100-year journey of salt making and have 100 booths displaying OCOP-recognized salt products in combination with tourism.
The festival will introduce the production process and salt processing technology of cooperatives and salt producers. As part of the festival there will be conferences and seminars on trade and investment promotion, technology application, and a ceremony to honor typical salt products.
Le Trong Dam, deputy editor-in-chief of the Vietnam Agriculture Newspaper and a member of the organizing board, said tha the festival will be a bridge to promote Vietnamese salt domestically and internationally.
“It’ll greatly contribute to enhancing the value of Vietnamese salt in regards of economic aspects and honoring the cultural values and beauty of Vietnamese people, opening up opportunities for cooperation and investment attraction for the sustainable development of the salt industry,” Dam noted.
