(VOVworld) - The Vietnamese Embassy and Consulate General in Germany have worked with the German state of Hessen and businesses to seek cooperation between the two sides.

Vietnamese Ambassador Doan Xuan Hung called Germany an important partner of Vietnam in the European Union, and said the five-year-old strategic partnership has progressed remarkably. Mr. Hung said Hessen plays a crucial role in the affiliation between Vietnam and Germany, adding that he hopes the two sides will push ahead with cooperation in trade, investment, tourism, science, technology, education, and lighthouse projects. The Ambassador took note of the opinions and said the Vietnamese government is determined to improve the business environment and attract more foreign investment.
