Vietnam seeks to boost trade with countries in America

(VOVWORLD) - Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Do Thang Hai has called on trade councilors and heads of Vietnamese Trade Offices to expand trade cooperation and exports of goods to countries in America.

At a meeting on Wednesday and Thursday in Mexico City, Mr. Hai urged for fulfillment of all assigned tasks for 2019, develop markets in America, timely inform the government of any rising trade disputes and provide the government with consultations in this effort.  

The meeting reviewed economic situations and trends in the American continent and their impacts on Vietnam, proposed recommendations on strategies and solutions to help Vietnamese businesses to expand their markets. Delegates focused on market research and devise new cooperative frameworks on economics, trade, and industry and support businesses to boost Vietnam’s economic growth.
